Meet Dr. Patrick Pierre, MD
Board-Certified Family Physician
Dr. Patrick Pierre is a board-certified family physician who is passionate about building meaningful relationships with his patients and helping them take an active role in their health. Known for his thoughtful and approachable style, he focuses on creating an environment where patients feel heard, understood, and supported at every stage of care.
Originally from New York, Dr. Pierre’s path into medicine was shaped by both his education and early experiences in healthcare. While studying at Johns Hopkins University, he spent time in research but quickly realized his passion was not in the lab, but in working directly with people. Later, while working at Memorial Sloan Kettering, he saw firsthand how important communication and guidance are in a patient’s experience. Those experiences continue to shape his approach today.
Dr. Pierre earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency at SUNY Health Science Center / St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Throughout his career, he has practiced in a variety of settings, including University Health and Methodist Physicians, caring for patients with a wide range of needs from preventive care to chronic condition management.
His philosophy is centered on education, accessibility, and partnership. He believes patients deserve the time to ask questions, understand their health, and feel confident in the care they receive. At Signature Primary Care, that philosophy comes to life through a more personalized, relationship-driven model designed to support long-term health and continuity of care.
Dr. Pierre provides comprehensive primary care services for patients ages 14 and up, including annual physicals, chronic disease management, preventive care, and medically guided weight loss. He is also fluent in English, French, and Creole, allowing him to connect with a diverse patient population across the Boerne and Texas Hill Country community.
